Stuart’s
talk was delivered in a way as to encourage the amateur
archaeologist in all of us to get out into the field
and find alignments. A discussion on how the sun, moon,
stars and planets are encoded into ancient temples,
stone circles and pyramids. He explored rises, sets
of celestial bodies and how shadow can move at ancient
sites around the world. Stuart also looked at his local landscape
around Sussex, particulary the 'Lewes Tump'.
Stuart opened the event at Megalithomania 2007.
