Dr.
Critchlow used the stone Platonic
figures that were created 1000 years before Plato and
Pythagoras, to show how these geometrically carved stone balls were used as tools to teach geometry. The
enneagram, then the heptagram and the pentagram are all
in evidence in the stone circle surveys of Prof. Alexander Thom.
This normally challenges the theory of evolution being
based upon physical development. Critchlow
was first introduced to the Platonic Figures in the
early 1950’s. Then he met Richard Buckminster
Fuller in the late 1950’s who cemented their importance
to Keith. He explained the fundamentals behind the use of these design skills in stone circles and ancient sites.
Keith used two projectors and two screens to display his incredible lifelong research into geometry and the magic behind it. He spoke after lunch on the Saturday.
